Equine endurance – different aspects of health
On Monday, September 6th 2021, a veterinary congress will be held at the National Equestrian Centre in Ermelo (in the Foyer) from 13.00 – 21.00.

- Violane Pineau (B)
Dr Violaine Pineau graduated from Oniris Ecole Nationale Vétérinaire de Nantes (France) in 2016. She studied the impact of a neutracetic supplement on the horses of the renown Ecole Nationale d’Equitation of Saumur for her final year’s thesis. She completed her internship at the Clinique Equine de Méheudin (France), where she worked mostly with racehorses. After several years as a general practitioner, her passion and curiosity led her to decide to specialize in equine internal medicine. She joined the ESMP Team mid 2021 and works under the direction of Dr Emmanuelle Van Erck and Dr Fe Ter Woort to complete her ECEIM residency. She has a keen interest in sport and respiratory medicine and loves traveling for both congresses and leisure.

European recognized surgeon specialist in orthopedics and surgery dipl. ECVS Sjoerd graduated from Ghent University in 2011. Following graduation he took up an internship at Veterinair Centrum Someren. After which he spent one and a half years in equine practice before completing an Internship at the Ghent University. Thereafter he was appointed by Dierenkliniek Emmeloord to work at the equestrian branch in China. He is now working as a specialist in Dierenkliniek Den Ham. His interest is on all aspects of equine orthopedics and surgery with a special interest in arthroscopic surgery.
